 As one of the contributing student collaborators, I directed, shot, and edited “March”, a theatrical short film that plays with one figure’s concept of space and time in isolation. When prompted with an opportunity to create pieces about the past year, I instantly went to this more intangible fight I’ve been having with time. Like many others, the quarantine was a period where some days would pass in seconds, while individual moments could play out for days. This monotony soon turned to a bizarre comfort as I learned to adapt to the new “normal”. I wanted to create a piece that addressed those phases while also asking the question “what comes next?”
